Ajatoro

The Ajotoro album contains Dikanda's compositions - the music that each of us carries somewhere deep inside, the music waiting for the moment to be seized and shaped into the combination of our varied tastes, visions and inspirations, and then played and sang together as one and perfectly matching. The melody spells its own words. These are words not possibile to be found in any dictionary. However, they carry universal content, inspired by life with all its palette of colors. Therefore, the letters and sounds alike instinctively arrange themselves into soft or hard, long or shortened. This creates the unique atmosphere and gives a full freedom for interpretation. This record also contains traditional songs with a typical Dikanda arrangement – not limited by any particular style, based on jointly chosen ideas of each individual. The music is inspired by traditional songs, or the ones found in ourselves, it is a part of our path, a picture of time ... There is some willingness in us to share it all with those ready to listen to our Dikanda confessions and we are extremely happy to have them around. They are our motivation to continue this sometimes difficult but miraculous musical path. For them this music, for them this record.
