„Rassi” by Dikanda is a big surprise. The colours used on the cover of the CD may indicate that musical compositions are the play of world’s elements mainly fire. Rassi is also the change in the band's composition. The album turned out to be a farewell for the great singer and violinist Kasia Dziubak, who clearly marked her oriental style in the band, but also gained Szymon Bobrowski (trumpet), who enriched the band with new sounds. As I have already mentioned, „Rassi” is a big surprise and change ... new sounds which have never been there before are to be heard in the songs now. What I mean here is electronic music, whose main conductor is Piotr Rejdak (guitar). The music is full of temperament („Rassi”), difficult and heavy sounds („A Ivan Ta”), sad, touching and thrilling moments („Ajde Divla” and „Ajde Mamo”), joyful, purely Slavic-Balkan songs(„Usti Baba”, „De Le lej”). One would say that the whole album is like playing on the listener's nerves but let me not say so in order not to sound rude. After the first listening to the whole CD, I was shaken, devastated, affectionate but happy at the same time ... is it possible? Yes - it is exactly how Dikanda influences people. The disc makes you reflect on what is and what is less import ant in life.
